So appreciative of his long and incredibly fulfilling life.
So much admiration for his life of service to others.
So grateful he got to meet my first born (great grandchild #50!)
So hard to put my feelings into words
So miss him already...

The Patterson Party is now officially a resident of GENTRY, ARKANSAS!  (Population 2,500)  Never thought I'd live in a really small town in the south... but I'm really excited about it!  Can't wait to make this brand new house our own little cozy home!

i've been busy eating, growing one inch and gaining two pounds!

liam david patterson

7lbs 14oz

20 1/2 inches

..and perfect in every way. we couldn't be more in love!

d-day highlights:

- mommy drove herself to doctor's appointment, not really sure she was even in labor.  turns out my water had broken! luckily i brought the packed hospital bag with me 'just in case'!

- daddy made it on the ONLY direct flight from tulsa to slc. miracle.

- mommy's best friend in Cali is in labor the same time!  so crazy!  baby Nora made her debut much sooner than our little guy, though.

- baby didn't like pitocin, so labor was s.l.o.w.

- after 24 hrs+ of labor, mommy got stuck at 9cm and wouldn't budge.  

- doc decided that pelvis most likely was not going to let this baby through

- came via c-section. poor head was cone shaped from being stuck in there for so long! (it rounded out by the end of the night, luckily!)

- everyone was exhausted, but healthy and happy!
