he's the man

Dad, Happy Birthday! I admire everything my dad can do. He is the ultimate fix-it man, with perfection always a must. He reads to learn new things. He is quiet, but yet can talk to anyone he comes in contact with -- and relate to them. Dad is always wanting the best for all his kids and grandkids and always puts our needs before his. I love you, Dad. Happy Day!

best four kids

Tomorrow my handsome nephew Dallin turns FIVE! I can't even believe it. I just wanted to give a shout out to the best four little kids I've ever known -- my nephews and nieces. They are probably the smartest, and silliest little buggers around. I LOVE you guys! Happy Birthday Dal! You are gettin' so big!

i need you

I have searched all of Cache Valley, and I still can't find you. Before my mission you were such a loyal friend and always made me feel so confident. I sacrificed more than a year without you while I was out of the country, I come home, and what do you do? You disappear on me? This cannot be. I have tried some others who claim to be as beneficial to my hair, but they are all false. I need YOU, Thermasilk -- you are the ONLY one that works. My hair is so damaged and desperately needs your help. Please....

....does anyone know where I can buy this besides the internet? Is it just Logan that is struggling to carry this amazing product?

my hero

I know everyone thinks their mom is the best....but I really think mine wins! Just kidding...but she does fill her life with amazing things, and she is beautiful! Not only did she raise four great kids who married four great other kids...but she sings in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with all her heart, she taught herself how to make pop-up books and loves to teach others, she has written a great children's book, she spends individual time with each grandchild and loves them more than anything, she volunteers like nobodies business, she cares for her elderly parents, she makes me laugh, she keeps up an amazing yard, she drives a grammy wagon!, she can dance!, and she will do anything for anyone else...need I say more? I just love you, Mom and I celebrate the great 54 (she's gonna kill me that I told everyone) years you have lived and pray for 54 more!! I love you -- you are my hero.

disappointed this week

This is the first season I have voted on American Idol. I told myself I would vote for one person each night and was so impressed with the girls this time that I voted for THREE girls this week, including Asia'h Epperson. I absolutely loved her voice because it was so different -- I was SO disappointed when she went before annoying Amanda Overmyer.

I am still rootin' for my two faves - Brooke White and David Archuleta. Not because they are LDS, but because honestly they are SO talented and SO humble about it. I thought Brooke's song this week, "Love is a Battlefield" was brilliant. She can play the piano and guitar, she dresses modestly and is adorable. I just can't say it enough. Vote for Brooke!

p.s. Hallelujah that Danny Noriega is gone. When he would sing it would make me sick to my stomach the way he moved around the stage.

what makes him happy

Zach is like a little kid in a candy shop when it comes to looking at wildlife. I don't know what it is -- but something about the Utah mountains and living in the mouth of the canyon have really gotten him into it. The other day while I was still at school, he drove up the canyon a couple miles from our house and spotted this beautiful female moose. Of course, when he picked me up from school I HAD to go up with him and see it!! (like it was something never before seen!) We just got these few shots of her starin' right at us with our horrible camera (hint: Jaci needs a new camera for her birthday) but I thought I would share them -- since this is the most 'exciting' thing that has happened lately.
