Something about watching a plant grow makes me smile. I find it miraculous that a beautiful creation can come from a tiny seed. When my sister Adri taught me last week that you can quickly grow some wheat grass, I was all over it. I decided to do it in a glass vase to see the works -- the roots, the seeds, and the grass. Doesn't it look cool? No green thumb is required to grow this wheat grass...and since it grows within a few days, and so fast you can almost watch it grow -- it makes you feel like a pro! Bring a little green into your home this spring!!

It turned out great, Jaci! Way to go! I think Mom is going to do the same thing for her assigned table decor at Jesse's pre-ception....isn't wheat grass a wonderful thing! :)
What a good idea. I was actually telling Jace the other day we need more green in our home. I'll have to try this.
That is so cute! I'll have to try that sometime. And your shelf is so cute too. We love IKEA, and Mike's mom is in love with that place to since she's from Switzerland and that place is so European.

super cute- love the idea! I've always wanted to do something like that in a little fish bowl where the fish lives under the plant and feeds off the plant- I've never really looked into how to do it, honestly it makes me a little nervous about killing the poor fish... but now this is cool and wont hurt a soul! :)
