my man spends every extra minute he has up the canyon at the logan river, fishing to his little hearts desire. yesterday he decided to save one of the little trout. today we cooked up the little guy (really, it was little) and accompanied it with some more fishy friends -- shrimp!
i also had bought this cute little kit to make sushi rolls (my constant craving). i made these! can you believe that? i know they look a little sloppy...but hey, it was my first try. i plan on practicing more and more.
here is the final product. a fulfilling and fishy meal...with a cherry on top...well, on the side (in your honor, marce!)

Wow, Jaci. I'm impressed by your fishy meal. I sent my boys out fishing last weekend for Father's Day and they caught 8 fish, which we ate for lunch that day! They said it was great, but not quite as nice as the fishing up in Logan. Be grateful you live close to such great spots there! We love you!
