we're back

We had a blast in Arkansas with the Patterson clan. The girls have grown up so much, and Andrew is becoming such a stud! Nine month is too long to go without seeing family. I took my camera everywhere, yet didn't really take photos of much. Here's the few I came out with.

The first day we went to a cute little artsy town called Eureka Springs. It was so humid, but of course green and beautiful. This is us standing on the balcony of the old Crescent Hotel built in 1886.
The hotel was awesome and the grounds were amazing. Here's the attempt at capturing the beauty. ya...not amazing pics, I know.

Another day we all went fishing at Crystal Lake on free fishing day in Arkansas. Here's little sis Gracie confidently casting and waiting for a bite. Andrew was the only successful one. We were even going to keep it for nights dinner, but it slipped back into the lake...little bugger. Soon after the loss, it started raining. When it rains, it pours! We were soaked. As soon as we all ran to the car and climbed in...it stopped. of course!

Those are all the pictures I got. bummer.

We happened to be in NW Arkansas during WAL-MART shareholders week. What does this mean for us? Free concerts! Wednesday we were able to see a triple concert of the bands No Republic, All American Rejects, and JOURNEY! Talk about an awesome night!

Friday morning was the shareholders meeting which is a 'meeting', but intermittent with mini concerts. Queen Latifa was the MC, and we heard a few songs from Joss Stone (I didn't know who that was, but I guess she's popular?), Jennifer Hudson!!, David Cook, and Tim McGraw! Woop woop! It was a blast. Gotta love the benefits of Wal-Mart!

Jace and Zach, sounds like you had a great trip! I'm glad you went out there. It looks beautiful! The rain storms were the same way in Ohio--came pouring out of nowhere and then ended just as quickly. Funny. See you soon.

Looks like you had a good time! I know who Joss Stone is because of my brother. Doesn't she have a deep voice?

You've always been so pretty, you should post more pics of of you and your hubby on here!

How fun! I love how green it is! We don't see much green down here...it's all red, so I love to lushness of it! (I think I just made up a word.)
