We did it! I am so proud of my primary kids! I couldn't have asked for a cuter bunch to perform the 2008 primary program. At the last minute we even got to add three new kiddos who just moved in - and the total was about 15 kids! Wahoo! They sang so well and I am SO glad we can move on to some new songs! My favorite song, however is "If the Savior Stood Beside Me." Have you ever heard it? It isn't actually in the primary songbook yet...but I think it will be someday!

Congrats! You only have 15 kids!?! That's crazy. I'm in the presidency and we're still working on the program. We've had to move it about 5 times and now we've got it scheduled for November. That is SO late. But hopefully it will work out.
I also love that song. It is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes when the kids sing it.
Just got put in primary and boy am I rusty with the songs! Thankfully our program is in November so it buys me some time.

I'm glad to hear it went so well! Thats a great task accomplished! Our program is in a few weeks and I am hoping the kids will do as well and I know they can! But, we have a great program planned so i'm excited! I have to agree that song is my fav!

That is my favorite primary song as well. I'm glad we both survived the program. They can be stressful but very uplifting and worth it!!!Hope school is going well for you!!

i'm the primary pianist in my ward too! (have been ever since we got married. seriously). and "if the savior stood beside me" is one of my all time faves that we've sung. so sweet! i'm jealous your program is already done... it's always a little stressful getting that done, don't you think? i'm glad it went well for you! i'm sure your kids ADORE you! xoxo
